“Burnt Toast” is a song I wrote about the little things in life that become the biggest memories. Originally written as something to leave behind for my children, grandchildren, family, and friends, it's about life's simplest lessons: Be nice. Do what's right. Love deeply. Show up for those who matter. After losing loved ones this past year, its message means even more. Life isn't always easy, but it's a blessing. Sometimes our greatest legacy is the love we leave behind.
